Performances

Uma and Radhika’s  maiden concert was for the “Spirit of Youth” Series of the Music Academy in 1992. Subsequently in 1993, they were selected by the Tamilnadu Iyal Isai Nataka Manram to perform three concerts in selected venues of Tamilnadu. Since then they have been performing extensively all over India under the auspices of various renowned Sabhas in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Trichy, Coimbatore,Madurai, Salem, Kumbakonam and across several towns of Tamilnadu.
Fortunate to have the support of all the prestigious sabhas of Chennai, the sisters are regular performers during the December Music festival. To name a few, Narada Gana Sabha, Mylapore Fine Arts, Thyaga Brahma Gana Sabha, Krishna Gana sabha, Kartik Fine Arts, Bharat Kalachar, Parthasarathy Swami Sabha, Indian Fine Arts and Brahma Gana Sabha are some Sabhas in which they  perform regularly.
Uma and Radhika have performed abroad in countries like USA, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and SriLanka. Their recent concert tour of the USA was in March 2016 and they performed in the reputed “Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana Festival” apart from concerts in several other cities of  the US.
They have also performed for the Srilankan TV channel “Rupavahini” and were featured in a live interview for the channel.
Their Canadian concert tour of 2016 was appreciated and recognized with Certificates of Merit from the Mayor – Brampton city and Members of Parliament – Brampton and Mississauga – Ontario, Canada. 
They are  “A “ graded artists of All India Radio and have been part of prestigious broadcasts like the National programme of Music and Navarathri Series. Some archival projects for AIR include Abhayamba Navavarna kritis, Oothukadu Venkata Subbaiyer kritis, rare compositions from the Chamundamba Ashtotra Kritis of Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavatar and Sriranga Kshetra Pasurams.
They have performed several thematic concerts based exclusively and dedicated to a wide variety of Composers, Ragas and Themes.
The duo has been featured several times on Podigai- Doordarshan, Naadaneerajanam -SVBC and other TV channels like Sun TV, Jaya TV, Raj TV, Kalaignar TV and  Vijay TV.
Other prestigious programmes for TV include Kamalamba Navavarnams for SVBC- Tirupati channel, Tiruppavai for Vijay TV, Diwali Special programme for Podhigai and National Programme of Music for the National channel.
 Their rendering of over 120 Divya Prabandams for the programme “Thittikum Thaen Tamil”, telecast in the Sun News Channel was well recieved and won appreciation from the public.
